Paper Intensifier For Packaging Paper/cultural Paper And Household Paper

The Paper intensifier AD-02 is a cationic strength additive we make for paper mills. It's been through the usual range - packaging paper, printing and writing grades, tissue - and it works with both virgin and recycled furnish.

The idea is simple: the polymer grabs onto the pulp fibres and hands them extra bonding spots, so the sheet holds together better. You can dose it by itself or on top of a dry-strength agent. Used alone it makes a real difference in strength; stack it on a dry-strength agent and the gain keeps climbing. On the machine that comes out as higher tensile, better burst, and folding that stays dependable.

There's a second thing mills usually notice early: it eases the wet end. Drainage is quicker, so the machine runs a little freer. And dry broke stops being a headache - it falls apart in the pulper without fighting you, which keeps broke handling simple.

We keep the dosage honest, and that keeps the cost honest. Typical rates run 2–20 kg per ton of paper, depending on the machine and the strength level you're after. It goes in with a metering pump; in our experience it behaves better if you dilute it with clean water first. The best spot is near the headbox, where the stock is thickest. For whoever keeps files the old way: it's a colorless to slightly yellow viscous liquid, pH 2.5–5.5, solids content 10.5 ± 0.5%, viscosity 20–200 mPa·s at 25 °C. It ships in 1000 kg plastic drums. Keep it cool, dry, and ventilated - away from sun and freezing. Sealed, it's good for six months.

One caution: it can irritate skin. If any gets in your eyes, flush with clean water for a full 15 minutes, and check with a doctor if it doesn't clear up.
